Searching. Grappling. Wrestling. Stuck. In some moments, despair. These were the feelings that launched the quest “to find myself” — eventually unearthing a deep understanding that the self is not a destination you arrive at, but is rather a perpetual being created moment by moment. During this time, coaching was (and continues to be) a crucial tool in identifying the dissonance, challenging my thoughts, and creating harmony and growth that flows into action. Through coaching, it’s become my passion to embark on these quests with my clients to discover, grow and transform amidst the different seasons of life.

Losing my husband of 25 years at the young age of 44 left me feeling isolated scared. Working with a coach during this time of extreme transition was really helpful and I was able to develop tools for dealing with the stresses and anxiety often accompanying widowhood. I started a support group for young women committing to helping Widows L.I.V. The acronym stands for Loss, Identify and Vision for the future. I realized that working through all three of those steps is appropriate for any loss leading to transitions in life.

I love my life most days! I have the joy of interacting with people all ages and in all different stages of their journey! I am a mother of 3 and a grandma of 4! I also have the privilege of doing life with my aging parents. All these experiences have taught me that people enjoy life more at any age when they have a sense of purpose and a feeling of belonging. That’s what I love about coaching, helping someone discover that golden truth about themself! On my not so great days, I celebrate the truth that I am more than the sum of my past mistakes… I desire every human to be able to redeem their experiences and find their unique way to be a contributing part of this crazy world we live in!
